A Small move to Sustainable Movement

A Great Initiative Towards Adoption and Welfare of Gau Mata Started at Parwanoo, District Solan Himachal Pradesh India
A commendable initiative towards the adoption 9f Gaushala for welbeing of the Gaumata Housed in Municipal Corporation managed Gaushala at an Industrial township and Gateway to Himachal Parwanoo, District Solan Himachal Pradesh has been initiated. by Sh. Sushil Kumar Singla, IFS, Secretary, Department of Environment, Science, Technology and Climate Change today on 3rd September. The Holy Janmashtami festival celebrated all across the country is being celebrated on 4th September.As per Indian Scriptures, there is an inseparable relationship between Lord Krishna and cowherd. Gopala, the revered God is always depcted with cow.

As part of this initiative, M/s Alcobrew Distillery India Limited, Village Kandla, P.O. Haripur, Tehsil and District Solan, has entered into an agreement with the Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Parwanoo, for the adoption of the Gaushalab of Municipal Council, Parwanoo.

The agreement was signed on September 3, 2026, in the presence of Sh. Sushil Kumar Singla, IFS.Under the agreement, M/s Alcobrew Distillery India Limited will provide dry and green fodder for all the cows housed in the Gaushala. The company will also provide medicines and necessary veterinary support as and when required.

The agreement has been executed for a period of two years. This is first of its own kind in Himachal Pradesh, popularly known as Dev Bhoomi exhibits its significance and efforts are underway to turn this small move into sustainable movement.
